Keegan backs Mancini's stance

Roberto Mancini has been warned that the pressure will only get worse if his Manchester City team fail to beat Fulham in the Saturday tea-time clash.
It is a game that City are 8.50 to win 3-0 with David Silva 7.00 to open the scoring. Meanwhile, a 1-1 draw is available at 9.50 and a shock 2-1 Fulham victory is 26.00.
The Blues chief came in for fierce criticism following the 1-0 defeat to Everton earlier in the week, where the Italian insisted he was to blame and had failed to prepare his side properly.
Neighbours Manchester United are now level on points with City at the top of the table, and pundits have stated Mancini is showing serious signs of strain at the task of trying to lead the club to its first league title since 1968.

There is nothing wrong with sometimes admitting you got it wrong.

Mancini's men can restore a three-point advantage should they take the maximum haul against The Cottagers, with United facing a difficult trip to take on Chelsea 24 hours later.
But former City boss, Kevin Keegan, who famously suffered a TV meltdown of his own during a title run-in with Newcastle United in 1996, is well aware what Mancini is currently having to contend with.
Keegan insists: "There is nothing wrong with sometimes admitting you got it wrong. People will look at those things, but Roberto knows the answers are in his dressing room, and Fulham is a massive game for them.
"The whole world will come down on Mancini and his players if they don't win. He was taking the pressure off the players the other night. He could have said that when you have the number of players City have with vast experience and international know-how, they shouldn't perform at such an average level."
City do have small injury concerns with James Milner nursing a broken bone in his hand, and Vincent Kompany and Micah Richards carrying knee knocks.
