Pizarro keen to banish bad memories
February 04, 2012 10:53:34 UK
David Pizarro is hoping to create better memories of his previous times in Manchester - by helping City beat neighbours United to the Premier League crown.
Manchester City are 1.10 to win the Premier League title this season while Manchester United can be backed at 7.50.
The Chilean midfielder joined the Blues this week on loan until the end of the season from Roma and is on standby to make his debut in tonight's home clash against Fulham, which City are 8.50 to win 3-0 with Pizarro 17.00 to open the scoring.
Pizarro was part of the Roma side that were hammered 7-1 by United in the Champions League in 2007, and also returned for two further defeats at the hands of Sir Alex Ferguson's team.

The 32-year-old insists he is aware at the size of the task facing Roberto Mancini's men as they attempt to wrestle the title away from the current champions.
Pizarro says: "I remember Cristiano Ronaldo that night (the 7-1). He was so good. I only saw the back of his shirt. It was a massacre. I think United are a very strong team, but we will try to beat them to the league title, even though they seem to be more experienced in this situation than City.
"I worked with Roberto Mancini at Inter, and I think his personality, his ability to guide important players and his leadership are his strengths. I know all about the investment made in this club and there are some great players here."
City will give late fitness checks to defender Vincent Kompany and Micah Richards (both knee).
