Spurs have snapped up veteran Frenchman Louis Saha on loan from Everton for the rest of the season.
Louis Saha is on his way to Tottenham on a loan deal.White Hart Lane chief Harry Redknapp has been seeking striking reinforcements throughout the January transfer window and has now finally captured his man.
The 33-year-old former Manchester United striker has signed an initial loan deal with Spurs that will see him remain in north London for the remainder of the campaign.
However, if the Frenchman can prove his fitness, Spurs have the option to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer.
Saha has been dogged by a number of injury problems in the past but when fit has proven to be a dangerous marksman in England's top flight.
Everton boss David Moyes has secured a replacement for the departing forward, with Moyes picking up free-scoring frontman Nikica Jelavic on a £5.5million deal from SPL giants Rangers.
Meanwhile, Steven Pienaar has moved in the opposite direction to Saha to rejoin Everton on loan for the rest of the season.
The 29-year-old South African midfielder left Everton to join Spurs in January 2011 in a £3million deal but couldn't break into the starting XI at White Hart Lane and sealed a deadline day return to Goodison Park on Tuesday.
Tottenham are now 1001.00 to win the Premier League following their 3-1 success against Wigan on Tuesday night.
Everton's 1-0 success against league leaders Manchester City has seen them installed at 101.00 to finish in the top six.
